Series Format

Session 1: Understanding the Caregiving Workforce

A research- and data-driven look at the structural drivers behind rising caregiving demand, the demographic and generational breakdown of caregivers, and the measurable impact on productivity, retention, and turnover.

Session 2: Policies and Benefits That Support  Caregivers

Real-world practice grounded in corporate case studies: benefit types  (flexible leave, care navigation, backup care, financial assistance),  how to conduct a needs assessment, policies and manager practices that validate caregiver identities and reduce turnover intentions.

Session 3: Building a Supportive Culture

Facilitated small-group discussion of participant case studies and individual action planning, applying concepts from Sessions 1 and 2  to participants' own organizations. (Interactive)

About the Presenter:

Jennifer Sabatini Fraone, MSW, MBA, is the founder of JSF Consulting LLC. She currently serves as Principal Workforce Strategist for ELIXR Solutions, advising their CareConsciousTM work with organizations. In her former role as Executive Director of the Boston College Center for Work & Family, she led the BC Workforce Roundtable, a network of more than 100 Fortune 500 HR leaders, spanning the boundaries between academic research and corporate practice over her 20-year tenure. She has presented at numerous industry and academic conferences, including WorldatWork Total Rewards, Working Mother/Seramount, NEHRA, NEEBC, and WFRN. Her commentary has appeared in the Boston Globe, Fortune, NPR, NECN, and Financial Times. Jennifer also taught a course on "Navigating Work and Life" to college seniors in the Boston College Capstone Program, helping students prepare for a fulfilling life beyond the university. Jennifer holds dual master's degrees (MSW and MBA) from Boston College and a BS in Clinical Psychology from Tufts University.
